“Antisemitism is a very serious accusation, especially against another vulnerable minority group who it can be argued has in certain industries been measurably oppressed by the very group making the accusation.”

Well, that hurts.

The part I agree with - as I’ve said - is that accusations of antisemitism shouldn’t be leveled against a whole group. But where I have trouble is where you seem to say that a) there’s no legitimate way to call out antisemitism if it comes from a Black person and b) Jews (as a group, not as individuals or as part of a broader white owner class) oppress Black people in the entertainment industry.

When you validate the singling out of Jews as collectively oppressive in the entertainment industry, you perpetuate the infighting that white supremacists want to see. You let non-Jewish white folks in entertainment off the hook. You continue a centuries-long tradition of using Jews as scapegoats. And you let really ridiculous claims (like Ye’s claim that “Zionists” orchestrated Kim Kardashian saying that she had sex with Pete Davidson in front of a fireplace) go unchallenged. When these ideas spread, it creates the impression that getting rid of the Jews might just solve whatever problem you’re trying to address — in this case, racism. And - as you've acknowledged - it gives an incredibly powerful weapon to white supremacists, who can say "see? it's not just us who say Jews are the problem."

I believe you’re a good person and you don’t mean any harm. I hope you’ll consider these words.
