I agree with a lot of what you’re saying. I’m a realist, and I think that states are overwhelmingly are concerned with maximizing their power relative to other states.

But you seem to be focused only on the “west.”

Is there any powerful state in the world that you think isn’t primarily interested in advancing its own interests?

Is there a powerful state that you think became powerful without causing large numbers of deaths?

Which state would you like to see replace the U.S. as hegemon?

And where did I say that indigenous people in the Americas don’t deserve their own state?

Are you saying you want the US to intervene in Ecuador? In other words, you do want it to behave as an empire, just a more virtuous one? Does this mean that your only problem with the US supporting Israeli sovereignty is that it needs to back more indigenous independence movements?

PS. Your claim that the U.S. is the biggest polluter is false. In absolute terms, it’s the second biggest, after China. In per capita terms, it’s #5.
