But are you saying that the US’ sole interest in Israel/Palestine is to kill Palestinians? Why is that an American interest?

And, assuming that only a few hundred Palestinians will be killed by Israel this year (a fraction of the annual murder toll in Chicago alone), are you really suggesting that the US government considers it worthwhile to contribute some $15 million for each of those kills? Do you not think intelligence sharing, counterbalancing Iran/Hezbollah, and technological development might be relevant here?
