I think it’s perfectly OK to label Kanye the antisemite of the year. I can’t think of anyone as famous as him who was anywhere near as antisemitic as he was.

Trump and others have made antisemitic comments too, no doubt. He is clearly bigoted against many groups. But no one else has delivered repeated extended monologues on podcast after podcast about how Jews aren’t real Jews, that he likes Hitler, or that Jews control the media.

I can’t prove that racism isn’t a factor in people piling on to Kanye, but I can say that he has been much more openly antisemitic than any other celebrity in the past year.
